- Installation of the Gamesa Electric Proteus PCS-E inverter and the Invinity “Endurium” vanadium flow battery.
- Commissioning successfully completed on February 14.
On December 16, as part of the V-iOn innovation project, Gamesa Electric Proteus PCS-E battery inverter was installed at La Plana hybrid plant near Zaragoza, Spain. Subsequently, on January 30, the installation of Invinity’s “Endurium” vanadium flow battery was completed, and the system’s commissioning concluded successfully on February 14.
The integration of the Proteus PCS-E into La Plana hybrid plant, which combines wind power, photovoltaic solar energy, and battery storage (lithium and flow), enhances grid stability and optimizes the utilization of renewable resources. This project underscores Gamesa Electric’s commitment to innovation and the development of advanced solutions for energy transition, highlighting the effectiveness of their inverters in improving efficiency and sustainability within the sector.
